We, a group of concerned individuals, have since the unveiling of the Corpus Clock been conducting heavy research concerning the creators of this clock, and the strange occult symbolism embedded within it’s design.
We are working to make our research public, in order to inform the public and allow people to draw their own conclusions about this mysterious device and its origins and purpose.
"CAMBRIDGE’S glittering £1 million clock will ring in 2009 with another burst of horological magic.
Meanwhile, a film claiming the clock is a UFO which heralds the end of the world, has surfaced on the internet.", begins an article in Cambridge News Online.
The article references a youtube video by a user named "gorilla199", who, disturbed by the symbolism of the clock, has released claims as to the origin and the purpose of the clock. At the very least, it is an example of a reaction inspired by the clock, whose creator, John C Taylor, personally described as "terrifying" and as being released upon the "unsuspecting citizens of Cambridge."
We at corpusclock.org are pleased to see that wariscrime.com picked us up for an article.. With a story of such importance, it’s always good to know that word is getting out and people are taking interest. We suggest taking a look at their site as there is a lot of useful information and food for thought there. We are always glad to see dedicated people working to educate the public and make a difference.
Back when we first started the site, we discovered a poem linking the chronophage and the credit crunch. Surprised and pleased to find someone else noticing the strange concurrency of these events, we wrote to him. He wrote a followup piece about us, and encouraged us behind the scenes to continue with our research. So we would like to send a special thank you to Monsieur Mouton for letting us know that we were reaching people, and for reaching out to us.
